The WireFreeAuto adapter uses both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to establish a connection:

  1. The adapter first connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth to initiate a wireless session.
  2. It then shares its Wi-Fi credentials, and your smartphone connects to the adapter’s Wi-Fi network to enable data transfer, as designed by Google.

What if my car doesn’t have Wi-Fi?
No problem! The adapter has built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, so it doesn’t rely on your car’s Wi-Fi. Additionally, you can choose to connect to an alternative Wi-Fi source, such as your car’s Wi-Fi (if available) or your smartphone hotspot.

If two paired phones are available simultaneously, the adapter will automatically connect to the phone that was last used for a wireless session.

You can do it in Settings -> Bluetooth -> Select "CarPlayBox_xxxx" device and click unpair.
